FU Information
Why?

Random FU Atrocity
Freefall United was started by a like minded group of people who chose to ignore these temptations and just concentrate on having fun skydiving and socialising. To this end we aimed to create a small, non profit, non student training club run by friends for friends.
When?
Freefall United was incorporated as a Club in June 1995 (A31560R). We are an official Australian Parachute Federation (APF) organisation, with representatives on the Victorian Parachute Council (VPC). In this way we can speak on behalf of recreational skydivers and have a say in the increasingly commercialised world of skydiving.
Above all else we are a social club. There are are regular social events (often masquerading as Club Meetings), jumping weekends and a general good time had by all. Members can also stay in touch via this website, whether they jump or not (or whether they're in Victoria or not). We have a full club committee structure, and access to the southern hemisphere's greatest Cessna 182: VH-DPI.
Most important of all we have a network of friendly caring and interested people who enjoy skydiving together! (Wipe vomit off the monitor now).
The February 99 issue of Skyline magazine contains an excellent letter to the editor written by Chris Carter , which sums up FU much more eloquently than I could ever hope to do. I've presented it here in its entirety so you don't need to search under your mattress for the relevant issue.
Where?

Random FU Atrocity
Simple!
FU members are regularly seen infesting the likes of Nagambie and Tooradin, with occasional trips to more far flung DZs such as Corowa. Part of the FU experience also includes regular subsidised jumping weekends at exotic (well, as exotic as Victoria ever gets) locations.
Because FU is a B licence and greater club, a Chief Instructor is not required for us to jump at non-DZ locations.
Not being tied to any DZ offers us the freedom to jump where we want as a club, and being free of the overheads of running a DZ allows us to extend extremely reasonable membership rates.
